Intro of the recipe:
When you are bored of eating the same snack items again and again, one tries to make something new. Being a fan of spicy flavors I tried out potato and pepper combo which can be consumed as a snack or as a side dish. The primary ingredient in this recipe is pepper which gives the main flavor. Do not to peel off the outer layer of potato because that adds extra taste to this recipe. This makes the 'Peppery Potato' all the more special.

Ingredients:
Potatoes - 1
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Salt - As per taste
Red Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
Pepper powder - teaspoon
Water - To boil

Preparation:
Cut the potato into two halves and boil it in water for 15 mins till its boiled.

Without peeling the outer layer, cut the boiled potatoes into pieces as shown below. Take a pan to heat and add oil to it. Then add the boiled potato pieces.

Cook for 2 mins and add salt, red chillipowder and pepper powder. Cook for another 5 mins and remove from heat and serve.

Serving Options:
Serve it as a snack item during your tea time. It can also be served as a side dish with sambar/rasam/curd rice.
